The Institute for Science, Innovation and Society seeks to employee an Institute Manager on a full-time basis (part-time hours (80% or more) and flexible hours will be considered). We offer a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2020.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective administrative management of the Institute. We are looking for a self-starter to look after the financial management of the Institute’s varied portfolio of grant-funded research projects, to have/to develop expertise to prepare new funding applications and to manage the communications strategy for the Institute including the organisation of events and maintenance of the website.
You will have a good level of education as well as experience in higher education administration or a similar environment, experience of finance administration and excellent communication skills. We are looking for the ability to work independently and to develop projects with minimal supervision. You will need to be organised, pay attention to detail and have good IT skills.
