InSIS Welcomes Chris Goldsworthy

InSIS is happy to welcome new Postdoctoral research fellow Chris Goldsworthy, who will be joining the Institute to work on the new research project 'How Institutions Think' (HIT).

Chris completed his PhD at Cardiff University in 2016. This research examined the organisation of the professional system surrounding the identification, diagnosis and treatment of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome across medico-legal and medical organisational settings.

Chris' work on HIT aims to empirically explore the consequences of radically distributed cognition within an institutional framework which places institutions as part of our cognitive processes.
