On 7 March The Jordan Times online published an article based on research conducted as part of the 'Decoupling Food and Water Security in a Middle East in Flux' (DeFWS) project. Titled, 'Jordan can reduce agricultural water use by a third, research finds', the article discusses findings from the project that suggest current crop production in Jordan could be achieved with 30 per cent less use of agricultural water.
